The Transformation National Alliance Party (TNAP) has maintained that it was strategically formed to lead the next government after the fast approaching 2022 general polls.
Speaking on Wednesday, the party Secretary General Arnold Maliba warned older parties against overlooking the party saying that it has the secret weapon to beat them.
Speaking on Radio Citizen's Mjadala Wa Citizen, Maliba said that TNAP must be in power after 2022, or at least be in the next government.
"TNAP itaunda serikali ya 2022 (TNAP will form the government after 2022). We will either form the government or the government will be us," said Maliba.
He stated that whoever will be president will have to go through the party, adding that the party's main objective is to empower Kenyans.
Maliba said that the party has replaced its initial eagle logo with money, as it is committed to giving Kenyans money, just as its 'Kazi na Pesa' (Work and Money) slogan suggests.
"Hatujui atakayekuwa rais kwa sasa ila tunajua hamna atakayekuwa rais bila kufanya kazi nasi (as of now we don't know who will be president, but no one will ascend to power without working with us)," added the SG.
He pointed out that the party is currently in the process of recruiting members and county executives ahead of its approval by the registrar of political parties.
