The man who worked for a long time as retired President Daniel Arap Moi's speechwriter Prof Ouma Muga is in hospital.
The genius professor known for his classy writing skills is admitted at the little-known PCEA Kikuyu Hospital bedridden and with little attention from authorities.
On Friday Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula visited him in the Kiambu County-based hospital to wish him well.
The Bungoma Senator was accompanied by two MPs.
"I Have visited Prof Ouma Muga at PCEA Hospital Kikuyu, with Hon Chris Wamalwa and Hon Didymus Barasa. Prof recovering well. My prayers for him," Wetangula tweeted after the visit.
Prof Muga was reportedly admitted to the facility three days ago but his sickness has not yet been revealed.
The professor remains in Kenyans minds when he publicly said at a funeral service at Kochia Siaya in 2006 that Raila would never become president in Kenya.
Kenyans on Twitter lauded Wetangula for visiting the literature expert calling on other leaders to emulate the former Senate Minority Leader.
Prof Muga closely worked for former President Daniel Moi as his official speechwriter because of his prowess in English speech writing.
Prof Muga, when he sat for the Kenya African Secondary Education exams over 50 years ago emerged the best countrywide.
