Celebrated TV anchor Betty Kyallo says she's not 'jealous' of her ex-husband following his wedding with another woman last week, which went viral on social media.
In an interview with the Standard, the K24 anchor also said she had no business to call Mr Okari and wish him the best, adding that it would have not made any difference.
"It was their wedding and their private day, not mine. They are happy and I don’t know if it would make a lot of difference if I tried to involve myself," she said.
Kyallo, whose marriage with NTV investigative journalist Dennis Okari thrilled social media users a few years ago, said she had moved on and had nothing to do with Okari.
According to her, there is nothing wrong to get married and get divorced because 'it's part of life'.
"I moved on and it’s not like I was sitting here waiting for Dennis to come back. That door was closed. I have a life and what was happening at Enashipai is part of it. I honestly had a good time there."
Asked whether a man pictured giving her flowers at Enashipai Resort on the eve of Valentine was engaged to her, she was quick to ask the interviewer to 'give it time'.
"Let’s just say I had a fine day. On all the rest, you will be the first to know. I promise," said Kyallo, formally news anchor with KTN.
The couple has a daughter but fell out in 2016 in what both termed as irreconcilable differences despite their much-hyped honeymoon in Dubai and Seychelles.
