Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna has rubbished President Uhuru Kenyatta’s appointment of the late IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando's wife Eva Buyu Msando into the government.
Uhuru named Msando among the members of the Export Processing Zones Authority for a period of three years, an appointment Miguna has dismissed.
The lawyer took to social media saying ‘Uhuru is playing games’ with the family of the late Msando instead of ensuring they get justice.
He compared Uhuru to Charles Taylor while questioning why the killers of the ICT official are yet to be brought to book.
“Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta is a certified despot, with Charles Taylor-like games. He had Chris Msando abducted, tortured and then strangled to death and his thumb cut,” he said.
Msando was named alongside former Mbooni MP Kisoi Munyao, and John Masaba to serve in the authority for three years if she accepts the letter as announced by Trade CS Peter Munya.
The death of Msando shook the nation.
The incident occurred a week to the General elections.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led opposition questioned the credibility of the election following the death of Msando and the family has been seeking for justice following the death.
