The counsel for the county assembly (Kiambu) represented by Nani Muingai Njoroge presented their evidence on why Governor Waititu should be impeached to the house of the Senate on Tuesday.
Through a statement that was submitted by Kiambu MCA's to the senate, they listed down clearly indicating that Governor Waititu has failed terribly, in a manner that he cannot even account of accountability and political governance.
The Kiambu counsel for the county assembly said that the action of Kiambu boss failing to protect public resources and ending up to be accused of graft makes it clear why he should be impeached.
“The evidence that you will hear in the course of today will demonstrate beyond a reasonable doubt that Gov. Waititu has failed on the account of accountability, political governance...& has done so in a manner that warrants his removal…” Counsel for the County Assembly (Kiambu) said.
They further insisted that, through the evidence presented to the senate, it is clear that Governor Waititu is a man who not only breaches the constitution and law but also does not fear the wrath of God.
“…you will find that the evidence shows that this is a man who not only breaches the constitution and the law but one who is not even afraid of the wrath of God” statement reads.
