A Jubilee party allied politician has reiterated that Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential ambition in 2022 is unavoidable.
Anthony Kibagendi who unsuccessfully vied for the Kitutu Chache South MP seat during the 2017 polls argued that no one will stop DP Ruto from becoming the next president.
“Who doesn’t know who Ruto is? Even kids and old people in deep villages across the country know this man. Stopping him from becoming the next president in 2022 will be a hard task for desperate politicians. He is the right choice for Kenyans in the 2022 polls,” said the youthful politician.
Mr Kibagendi dismissed claims that DP Ruto is corrupt adding that the time he was in opposition he was not corrupt.
“How comes when DP Ruto was in opposition he wasn’t corrupt? Now that he is in government, former Prime Minister is busy saying he is corrupt. The truth is that DP Ruto is clean ready and focused to work for Kenyans,” said Kibagendi.
The vocal politician appealed to youths from Kisii and Nyamira counties to throw weight behind DP Ruto in 2022.
He was speaking on Saturday at Gusii stadium.
