Outspoken Lawyer Miguna Miguna has said that Raila Odinga's admission that he was a whistleblower for the fake gold scam means that he was involved.
Miguna in several tweets said there was no way the ODM leader could have prior information about the scam if he was not involved.
Raila on Friday said that he was the person who exposed the fraudsters involved in the fake gold scam.
"A whistleblower is a MEMBER of a CABAL who is privy to and INFORMS ON his COLLEAGUES for crimes they have committed TOGETHER but which he now wants to expose. When did Raila Odinga join the cabal? Who are its members? What are the full details of their crimes?" Miguna tweeted.
"The People's Con-Man has confessed to being a member of the Blood Gold Cabal. That's why Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid knew of his involvement. The Wetangula audiotape which the Sheikh leaked implicates Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta and Fred Matiangi. Period!" reads another tweet.
According to the former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant, the high profile trip the African Union High Representative on infrastructure made recently in four countries was for consultation before coming out clear.
The Sh400 million fake gold scam has seen names of several politicians among them President Uhuru Kenyatta and Interior CS Dr Fred Matiang'i implicated.
