In a phone interview on Thursday, Kemosi said it is time for the laws governing the country to be reviewed.

"We have a debate on whether we should have changes in our constitution and I want to say that nobody is against the review of our laws.

"I have taken the initiative of drafting a bill in parliament that will see us have MPs being appointed into cabinet a move will make it easy for legislatures to question the ministers in the floor of the house," he said.

Kemosi further said that the review of the laws of Kenya will help the country curb the sky rocketing wage bill that is unmanageable.

"I am sure the referendum will help this country manage it's wage bill but by saying so I don't mean that county governments should be reduced, let them remain the way they are and even more money be devolved.

Inspite of his support for the referendum, Kemosi said the same should not be used by some greedy politicians as a loophole of creating positions for themselves.

"Let it not be that we are going to make changes in the constitution to create positions for some people who have long served our country, that we will not do."
