Murder suspects Jacque Maribe and Joseph Kuria Irungu alias Jowie left tongues wagging after they had an ‘intimate’ moment at the Milimani Law courts on Tuesday.
The two were captured exchanging an affectionate hug in photos that have since gone viral.
The two were dragged to court over the murder of Nairobi businesswoman Monica Kimani.
In past scenarios, the two suspects appeared together in court but were not captured exchanging even a word.
While at the dock during plea taking, Maribe sported a puffy face and looked away from Jowie.
The photo created memes which made rounds on social media as netizens thought that Maribe was angry for being ‘dragged’ into the murder case by her lover.
Jowie is the chief suspect in the murder according to the prosecution.
Things changed on Tuesday as the two hugged tightly. Their eyes are also sparkling with love.
Maribe was in court for the mention of the case.
The prosecution has also said Maribe's car will not be released to her as it is still an exhibit in the murder case.
