A human rights activist has revealed what made ex-Bonchari MP John Opore lose his seat in 2017.

The vocal activist ‎known as Cliff Real Musiq who hails from Riana ward in Bonchari termed Opore as an incapable leader who failed to serve residents with equality.

‎"Opore lost his seat in 2017 because of his failure to distribute resources equally to the people of Bonchari. He also preferred people he helped to get jobs during his tenure as MP," said Cliff.

He said despite the fact that he hails from the same village with Opore, he will not be cowed into talking the truth.

According to Cliff, Opore will never get back to parliament because he is not a leader who runs politics of inclusivity.

"I will continue to speak the truth until Opore realises that the people of Bonchari won't elect him in 2022. He is wasting time traversing the constituency purporting that he is inspecting development projects he initiated during his tenure," said the activist.

He argued that the ex-lawmaker should retire because the people of Bonchari elected him for 15 years but, he failed to develop the constituency.
