There was drama after a 46-year-old man caught his wife and stepson having sex in a lodging.
The Tuesday incident that happened at Makuti guest house in Suneka, Kisii County left many people in shock.
Mose Oganyo said he has been suspecting his wife, Vivian Kemunto of having an affair with the stepson, Duke Ombaso.
“I have always doubted my wife of cheating on me with the stepson. We run a retail shop in Suneka and I had left her to attend to customers and left for Kisii town to purchase more stock," said Oganyo adding "when I returned, I found the shop closed and this is when a friend told me that he spotted my wife and Ombaso entering the guest room."
Oganyo said he went straight into the guest room and knocked on the door where the two were booked.
“I knocked on the door but they refused to open. I borrowed a hammer which I used to remove the hinges before I forced myself into the room. I was shocked to find my wife I have been living with for 11 years naked with Ombaso,” stated Oganyo.
The guest room's attendant, Innocent Onsombi said Oganyo beat up the two before they were rescued by traders.
“I didn’t know whether the two were related. I could not have allowed them into the room. The man paid Sh200 for the room. They were beaten up by Oganyo before I alerted traders who came and rescued them,” said Onsombi.
Area administrator Charles Omboye confirmed the incident and said the woman escaped to an unknown place after she was rescued.
“It is shameful for the woman to engage in illicit sex with her stepson. She is lucky she was rescued from the beating. No one is aware of where she has gone into hiding," noted the administrator
Ombaso was, however, not lucky as he was again caned by irate traders before he was let go.
"Ombaso who is yet to get married was caned thoroughly before he was released,” Omboye remarked.
