Some of the critics took to Otile Brown’s Instagram account to demand an explanation on why he never posts videos of his overseas performances.

“How comes we don't see you posting these shows since you really got us hyped now twaona Tu ukiwashukuru ukiwa umekaa kwa viti,” a fan with the username Dannyflx commented on Otile’s Instagram post.

The artist ignored the comment only for another Instagram user accuse him of living a fake life in another different post.

“tupostie zile giusepe zanotti ama alexander sneakers umezivaa nje ya store,si kuzikagua tu alafu urudishe kwa display, tushow u were shopping in an expensive shop, utafika buda usiwe na pupa,” aamaay posted.

The post loosely translates to; post for us the Alexander sneakers you were wearing outside the store, don’t just window shop and take pictures with then return them on the display.

The 'Baby love' hit-maker who was evidently angry fired back in a long post explaining why he could not fail to afford the alexander sneakers in question.

Otile Brown admitted that he had bought a different brand of shoes which he did not want to post because he does not want the shoes to be known.

He also went ahead to state that the Alexander sneakers he was being accused of faking possession were only Sh60,000 which he could not fail to afford especially after doing a tour in Europe.

"I did not buy the Alexander sneakers because I already have them. The shoes which I bought were different and I haven't posted them because I don't want them to be known. Alexander sneakers are just Sh.60,000, I cannot fail to afford them with my entire tour in Europe," the 'Niacheni' singer hit back.

Otile Brown concluded by saying he did not consider posting the shoes essential because the far he has come in the journey of music is enough to make him buy any shoes without thinking twice.
