On Tuesday, Nairobi witnessed another shocking terror attack at 14 Riverside in Westlands area which took away 14 innocent lives.
The incidence started on the afternoon of Tuesday and proceeded to Wednesday before all the attackers were killed.
However, Kenyans need to know what they should do un case of a terrorist attack.
Speaking to Citizen TV on Wednesday, security analyst George Musamali educated Kenyans on what they should do in case of such an incidence.
He listed three steps to follow:
1. Hide
According to Mr Musamali, hiding is the first thing to do during a terror attack. This will give you time to think on your next step.
2. Escape
The next thing you should do is to look for a safe escape route. Don’t let the attackers spot you as they will put a bullet through you.
“If it is not possible to find a safe place to conceal yourself and there is a route you can use to escape then do it,” he said during an interview on Citizen TV.
3. Fight back
George Musamali recommended fighting back as your last option. Since the terrorists have no other business other than killing you, defend yourself if they come at you. Fight them back with all you have.
Mr. Musamali further advised Kenyans to be vigilant on suspicious happenings.
“When it looks suspicious, it is suspicious,” said Musamali.
