Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino on Sunday evening mocked Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu after he was shouted down by an angry crowd in Githurai.
Waititu, Deputy President William Ruto, and other leaders made a stopover in Githurai to address their supporters, after attending a church service at St Veronica Catholic Church, in Kahawa.
However, when Waititu tried addressing the crowd, he was met with “hatutaki and hakuna” (we don't want) chants which forced him to cut short his speech.
In a tweet, Babu noted that Waititu's people had turned against him, while he was busy fighting ODM leader Raila Odinga.
"Waititu you were warned to stop fighting Baba but as usual a fly that does not take an advice follows the corpse(tanga tanga)to the grave and are buried together. A big head can not miss a blow. gods of politics are not happy with you," posted Babu Owino.
The heckling of Waititu comes barely a week after he was grilled by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission( EACC) over loss of millions in his county.
