The Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has been lately accused of making divisive sentiments. His statements not only trigger reactions from the opposition politicians but also the Jubilee leaders.
Lately, the Jubilee party Secretary General Rafael Tuju said that Senator Murkomen will face the party's disciplinary committee but not yet we are waiting to see. The big question is: is Murkomen alone when making these statements or he always discusses with his political allies even before moving forward to utter them?
Evidently, this Rift Valley leader has depicted actions contrary to other Jubilee leaders since the handshake took place. In fact, he has been moving in a pathway with the ideology of betrayal backfired with Raila Odinga's meetings with the central region leaders.
Senator Murkomen has become a vocal political figure in a span of fewer than four years but that is not surprising given that he is the Senate majority leader.
Either, Murkomen has never agreed to support or embrace the handshake even when his closest ally, DP Ruto has done the same. He moves to defend DP Ruto by blaming the handshake which his big friend is already happy with! Is he alone or he is being used by some other Jubilee leaders?
DP Ruto is one of Murkomen's big friends and I do not want to believe that he (Murkomen) can utter such divisive sentiments without consulting his friend who is in authority as the Deputy President. That is why the question should remain, "Is Murkomen alone when making these statements?"
In my opinion, I can say 'No' He is never alone, he must have consulted and discussed with some other Jubilee leaders.
