George Tevin, a pupil at Royal Stopmark Academy Boarding School in Bomet County is said to have left their Kahawa West, Nairobi home on Monday when schools reopened.

Tevin, however, did not report to school.

In an exclusive interview with Hivisasa on Wednesday, Everline Akinyi, the boy's mother said that she prepared Tevin for school as usual on Monday.

The KCPE candidate then left home at around 8 am towards the bus station alone, as that according to the mother, was a normal thing.

It is only when the school called on Monday evening inquiring why the boy had not reported for the third term that the family realized he was missing.

"My boy was dressed in a green school short, black leather shoes, grey socks with blue and white stripes, a red t-shirt and a black jacket. Daddy was carrying a school bag full of books and other learning materials." Akinyi said in pain.

Stressed and tearful mother described her son as an averagely tall, chocolate colour who speaks English, Kiswahili and Dholuo languages.

Akinyi and the father Peter Mureiti pleaded for help from wellwishers who might have seen him since attempts to locate and trace his moves has proven futile.

"My nights since I realized my son is missing has been sleepless and sorrowful. I want to beg anyone who by any chance sees him or has otherwise seen Tevin to reach me through his father's cellphone number +254726764494," she added

The family said they have reported the matter at Kiamumbi police station.
