The forward has accumulated two yellow cards and will thus serve a mandatory one-match suspension when his team travels to Algeria on Friday for the Sunday encounter.

Blackberry started Wednesday's match against Tusker in Machakos but was sacrificed before the half an hour mark when keeper Boniface Oluoch was sent off and a player had to go off for reserve keeper Shaban Odhoji to come on.

The team will also be without injured defender Joash Onyango. Onyango picked an injury during a league match against Western Stima a week ago and missed last weekend's Caf Confederation Cup match against Hussein Dey in Kasarani and yesterday's league match against Tusker FC in Machakos.

The defender will, however, travel with the rest of the team as confirmed by coach Hassan Oktay in an earlier interview.

"Whether he recovers or not he will travel with the rest of the team. I want to have him in Algeria even if he doesn't play," the Cyprian-Turkish tactician said.

Gor Mahia tops group D with six points, two more than second-placed Hussein Dey. Petro Atletico is third with four points as well while Zamalek is fourth with two points.
