ODM leader Raila Odinga has clarified that the Big Four agenda was not part of the March 9 handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking on Monday, Raila said before meeting Uhuru, they agreed to discuss everything.
"We somehow agreed that we had to meet and we were only prepared to talk if we could bring the other topics to the table, not the Big Four agenda. We agreed that [if] we met others, there would be vested interests," said Raila.
Raila who had initially opposed the Big Four agenda was speaking during the burial of Migori Senator Ben Oluoch.
Manufacturing, universal health care, food security and provision of 500, 000 affordable housing units fall under the Big four agenda.
According to Uhuru, the Big four agenda will be key in defining his legacy once he leaves office in 2022.
The two leaders agreed to work together after months of political animosity after the contested August 8 and October 26 polls that left the country polarized.
They agreed to put their differences aside and work together.
