Media mogul S.K Macharia has been subjected to ridicule following the death of popular Egesa FM presenter Joseph Mochere, who committed suicide, Saturday.
Although the suicide note portrays struggles in marriage revolving around infidelity, fans could hear none of that as they took war to Macharia's doorstep.
"It is embarrassing that after working all that long, RMS still could not absorb Okebiro O'Mose. Macharia has some explanation to make," said Jacob Abere.
Another user Eugene said on Facebook: "Exploitation of workers has escalated at Royal Media. I am yet to understand how someone could go on air for three years without being absorbed."
Some called for prosecution of the company's management over 'discrimination' of employees.
"It beats logic because even interns are absorbed within six months. Labour Relations laws are very clear," said Dyline Moraa.
Earlier, Egesa FM had stated that Mr. Mochere, popularly known as Okebiro O'Mose, was not an employee.
"He had been given platform due to his talent. He was not employed but there were plans to do so in two months,"said one of his former colleague.
In his suicide note, Mochere seemed to blame his wife for subjecting him to unnecessary stress over alleged extra marital affairs.
