Atheists in Kenya (AIK) President Harrison Mumia has called has urged the government to arrest and prosecution Prophet David Owuor.
According to Muia, Owuor is allegedly stage-managing miracles with the aim of duping Kenyans.
Muia claimed he had evidence Prophet Owuor's famous miracles were fake.
He challenged Owuor to go to Kenyatta National Hospital and heal the sick if indeed he had the capabilities.
"We are asking the government to investigate the purported miracles of Prophet Owuor, and indeed arrest and prosecute the Prophet, if the miracles are found to be phony. This will save many unsuspecting, poor Kenyans time and money," Muia said in a statement.
Muia warned the public against believing in Prophet Owuor's miracles.
"It is unfortunate that, given the many challenges facing Kenya's health sector, the government can allow a person to mislead Kenyans by claiming to have supernatural healing powers. We have evidence that Prophet Owuor's purported miracles are stage-managed with the aim of persuading a gullible, desperate public to believe in the miracles. Most of his prophecies are aimed at inciting fear and giving false hope," Mumia alleged.
On Saturday held a rally at Nairobi's central park.
