A middle aged man has gone into hiding after he was caught engaging in unprotected sex with a class 7 girl in his rental house.
The incident happened in Keroka, Nyamira County.
Kennedy Ndege, the area chief, confirmed the incident and said the girl's mother, Jemimah Nyabonyi busted the man Daniel Mokaya naked with the girl in the act.
"Ms Nyabonyi spotted her daughter entering Mokaya's house while she was returning home from school. When the girl took long to come out of the house she stormed the house and found her daughter naked with the man doing sex," he said.
Mr Ndege said immediately Nyabonyi screamed for help the man threw her into the wall and escaped.
"Mokaya overpowered Nyabonyi and fled from the house. Neighbors arrived only to find the suspect missing," he stated.
The chief said upon questioning the girl she revealed that this was the first time Mokaya was engaging in unprotected sex with her.
"The girl said Mokaya promised to give her Sh500 to buy school shoes," he said.
Ndege assured that the suspect is being traced to be arrested.
