US First Lady Melania Trump has left Kenya after a two-day visit to the country.

She was seen off by her Kenyan counterpart First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Her solo tour of the African continent is set to end in Cairo, Egypt where she is headed.

The tour was in pursuit of her causes of child protection and women's' rights.

While in Kenya, she engaged in discussions with Margaret Kenyatta and shared ideas on issues close to their hearts.

Melania Trump's visit did not arouse much interest from Kenyans as Obama's 2015 visit.
