He promised to marry you. He said you are his world and that there is nothing he can do without you.
He promised a kingdom in which you are the queen and all that comes with it will be yours. You accidentally get pregnant and he suddenly sees you as a stranger.
The communication dies off and the lovely dates you usually had, now become a distant memory with no possibility of circumstances taking the fantastic reverse.
But why do men ghost or decide to abandon a lady after realising that they are expectant? Many will leave for the sole reason of the burden being too hard. 1. Evading the psycho-emotional burden
After you get pregnant, most men will choose to walk away and not be associated with the pregnancy.
Being around will in no doubt require that he leaves a lot of what he has been doing and probably solely be responsible for you in all aspects.
Unless he is mature enough, you won't know when you started being on your own. The psychological and emotional burden is just too much for most of them to handle.
2. Responsibility
There is nothing more fearsome than responsibilities. Transitioning from the thrills and ques of the youth is usually hard to evade and many men never make it out till later on in life.
There is that tendency to run away from responsibilities and top of that list is pregnancy and the whole thought of having to take care of a baby.
3. Freedom
When he chooses to literally run away, it is, in most cases, in the search of freedom he has always had.
This is a common phenomenon if he is not mature enough to just handle situations. He will feel that being around will pluck away chunks of the chance to be himself as he will have to look after the baby, and you.
