Kenyan hip hop artist Henry Ohanga popularly known as Octopizzo has now come out to give the condition that must be met before he accepts working with fellow hip hop star Khaligraph Jones.
The Kibera’s finest artist insisted that he will only work with rap nemesis, Papa Jones if the collabo will bring him money.
Speaking during an interview with Mambo Mseto host Willy Tuva on Tuesday, Octopizzo said that he won't work with an artist to please some people.
“I am ready to work with any artist so long as I am making money from such arrangements. I won’t work with an artist for the sake of it, for the sake of hype, for the sake of giving in to pressure from certain quarters. I would work with a musician because I am passionate about the project we’re pursuing. [I am ready to work] with Khaligraph Jones so long as our partnership will bring me money and increase my fan base; that is what matters most to me,” said Octopizzo as quoted by Citizen’s edaily.
The celebrated hip hop artist also spoke about his relationship with Khaligraph Jones saying that the two are in good terms though they don’t communicate regularly.
He revealed that the last time the duo spoke was two years ago.
