A middle-aged woman, in her thirties, was busted red handed on Monday after she was trying to shoplift from one of the supermarkets in Kisii town.
The suspect who was identified as Catherine Kwamboka hid toothbrush, sprays and beauty products in her private parts.
Upon realising her unusual walking style, one of the attendants rose alarm which led to her ransacking.
"I noticed her behind was bigger than when she come in. She also changed her walking style to 'accommodate' the goods," said Victor Osoro, an attendant.
Kwamboka admitted her mischief where she said that it was her third time to shoplift in various shops.
"I hide what i want in my private parts when no one is seeing me and I ensure am in a baggy dress to kill any possibility of being suspected," she said.
Confirming the incident, the supermarket's manager Reyansh Patel said that such customers have made his business encounter losses every year.
"I have been counting losses because of such shoplifters. This woman will be a lesson to others. She must pay thrice the value of the stolen good or go to jail," he said.
