A NASA rebel MP has renewed political war with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga over the historic handshake.
South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro, in an interview with Egesa FM on Wednesday, termed Raila as a confused man who is dwelling so much on propaganda.
The vocal legislator accused Raila for taking advantage of the historic handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta to drag DP Ruto into corruption scandals.
"The handshake was meant to unite Kenyans but, the former Prime Minister has taken advantage to see DP Ruto as an enemy. I want to urge Raila to respect Ruto because the handshake didn't give him powers to continue with unnecessary attacks on Ruto," said the lawmaker.
Mr Osoro insisted that time has come for Kenyans to ignore Raila's theatrics in politics.
He confirmed that he has never regretted being close with DP Ruto, adding that he only chose to be close with DP Ruto to serve his constituents better.
"I'm the one elected but not the party which sponsored me. I have put all my energies to serve my constituents who gave me the chance to represent them at the National Assembly," he noted.
