The three, Margret Wairimu, Susan Nyambura and Joyce Wambui, will be charged with baby Consolata’s theft.

Baby Consolata Wambui was recovered from a village in Molo where her mum is suspected to have sold her.

Investigators said preliminary investigations show the baby was stolen and sold for Sh80, 000.

The two women, Margret Wairimu, 35, and Susan Nyambura were then traced with GPRS to the sleepy village.

They were arrested and taken to Molo police station.

“Two suspects, Margaret Wairimu who was posing as the mother of the baby and Susan Nyambura, 54, as the grandmother are now in police custody and will be arraigned in court on Monday together with Joyce,” police said.
