There was drama on Wednesday morning after students at a hostel in Kisumu were awakened by 'help' screams at the hostel’s main gate.
The female student was rescued at 3:00 am by other students in the hands of her boyfriend who was strangling her.
The boy identified as Peter has been doing surveillance on her girlfriend who schools at a local college in Kisumu, after getting reports that she was dating another man.
“I arrived here from home yesterday at 10:00 pm. She was not in the house. I watched over from the social hall as I had no place to sleep. This is what she does,” he yelled at the girl.
According to him, he had spotted a Mercedes Benz drop her girlfriend though the driver never stepped out of the vehicle.
“I stood in the hall and watch her come out of the car,” he added.
The girl on her side said that she had gone to the party at Signature Club and the man who dropped her was just a friend.
“He offered to drop us. I was with my friends. I just met him there,” she said.
