A man lost his two teeth after he engaged in a physical fight with is brother. The incident happened on Thursday at Omokonge area in Nyamira County.
Reuben Oroo was attacked by his younger brother, Joseph Manoti, following a land dispute.
Witnesses said Oroo cultivated a piece of land belonging to Manoti.
"Manoti resides in Nairobi and he recently returned home only to find his brother to have cultivated his piece of land.
"Manoti questioned Oroo why he cultivated his land and when he failed to give a justified answer, Manoti descended on his with kicks and blows,” said Wilson Nyaanga.
Nyaanga said efforts by Nyumba Kumi officials to stop the two from fighting did not bore fruits because Manoti was too powerful for them.
Martin Kiriago, a Nyumba Kumi official said Manoti and Oroo were summoned to appear before the elders on Friday before their case could be forwarded to the authorities.
Kiriago warned residents against unnecessary fights in the village saying the law will deal with offenders squarely.
