Orina says he personally cooks and sells chips after class to get extra cash.

"I own a chips cafe (Amazon chips cafe). This is my way of earning a living other than focusing on my course here at Moi University," he said.

The student divulged that he started the business in 2017 after seeing the potential in the institution. What motivated him was the business opportunities available within and outside Moi University premises.

He confessed that even though the business has been doing well, he has faced a lot of challenges. One of the key challenges was a number of his friends deserting him saying he is too much on hustling life.

Balancing between business and studies has also been a challenge as he is now forced to read the whole night and immediately after class, he has to go to his business.

The chip business according to Orina is booming as daily earning ranges from Sh800 to Sh1,500.

"On good days I make up to Sh1,500 a day, but most of the time I earn Sh800 a day," he said.

"I have a lot of customers. Since I'm the only man in the business here in the campus many customers look for me to taste my cooking skills" adds the student who wants to make himself financially stable without depending on his parents.
