Among the ones expected in the race is Deputy President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga who is, however, yet to announce his bid.

The debate will solely revolve around the two when the time comes, with Odinga most likely to beat Ruto in a clean race.

This will among others result from his lack of confidence in himself courtesy of his move to plead with fellow leaders to back him during a tour of Kakamega on Saturday.

Unlike Odinga who remains cool, Ruto has demonstrated that he cannot stand on his own feet and will have it hard winning Kenyans.

Majority of voters will observe that he might as well be unable to singlehandedly run the nation and turn to foreign powers, turning the nation into a colony.

Odinga has also been meeting leaders drawn from the rival side, the latest being former leaders from Meru who even endorsed him, proof that he is gaining grounds in the region.

Through this, he is more likely to win as compared to Ruto who has been mark timing, unsure of the Central Kenya support, now only depending on his Rift Valley bedrock.

He is also likely to later face the wrath of Kenyans for trying their intelligence and for double speak, as the DP has been calling for political calm from one side of his mouth while silently campaigning using the other.

This can be witnessed in his many tours and fundraisers every weekend and his silence when leaders in his company endorse his bid.

Also, Kenyans need a humble leader, as opposed to Ruto who appears to he proud, to an extent of on Saturday claiming that he has since overtaken Raila.

Ruto forgot that he was speaking about a liberation fighter who was jailed for the sake of the nation and who still enjoys support in many parts of the nation and whose supporters were angered by his remarks.

In retaliation, they will again vote for the man, leaving Ruto in the cold even after making thousands of campaign trips across the nation.
