In In his YouTube analysis channel, Take It or Leave It, on Tuesday, Manyora foresaw Raila beating among others, Deputy President William Ruto in the race for the top seat.

Judging by the dynamics witnessed after his March 9 truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta, the professor claimed that Raila will lead a major alliance to lock his rivals out of the contest.

The winning team, he said, will also include Uhuru, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC chief Musalia Mudavadi and Mombasa Governor and Raila's ally Hassan Joho.

"It is clear that there will be a strong side led by Raila and Uhuru, Mudavadi and others like Kalonzo and Joho, they will win the election," said the commentator.

However, he added, this does not kill Ruto's ambition but must to some extent postpone it to either 2027 or 2032, advising the DP to not put up any opposition against the team.

Likewise, Manyora advised Ruto to not fight the looming referendum push which has since received an endorsement from all the leaders but is opposed by Ruto.

Manyora said that Ruto will easily and without any sweat clinch the presidency in 2027, noting that by that time the government will have cracked and promises given to Kenyans not realized.

"Let him let them form the government and with time cracks will emerge because the President will not have pleased all the people around him.

"Also, there will be unfulfilled promises and Kenyans will not have had all their promises kept, Ruto will have it very easy bouncing back," he advised.

All the leaders have since called for political calm, terming it time for service delivery and development.
