Rocked in internal wrangles, confusions and uncertainty, DP William Ruto has stepped up to save his sinking campaigns in Gusii region.
Presumed to be Raila Odinga's stronghold, Ruto is working around the clock to take control of a region that could be having over 2 million voters.
And with older generation under Walter Nyambati, Jimmy Angwenyi, Joseph Kiangoi among others expressing their dissatisfaction over the team, Ruto has however maintained his confidence in the team that he settled on.
Antony Kibagendi, a youth coordinator in his te, is leading the youth wing and is tasked with organising youthful events not only in Gusii but across the country.
And North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko, is also keenly working with Ruto to tilt Nyamira in DP's favour even with simmering rebellion from the ground.
To bring experience to his camp, Richard Onyonka, the Kitutu Chache South MP is closely working with the campaign team to improve the DP's image.
With his sixth year as Deputy Governor, Joash Maangi of Kisii has also pledged to closely work with camp Ruto.
His experience in politics across Kisii is believed to be the reason why the DP wants him to play an integral role in his campaigns.
And Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i is also working closely with Ruto's camp evident from a couple of activities they have arranged in the region.
It is however earlier to predict the voting patterns given ODM leader Raila Odinga is yet to declare the way forward for his supporters.
