Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has opened up on his alleged alliance with opposition leader Raila Odinga and Amani National Congress (ANC) party chief Musalia Mudavadi.
Recent reports have indicated that the trio is working on something common, with the 2022 general elections and specifically the presidential race in mind.
In an interview at his father and former President Daniel Moi's Kabarnet Gardens in Nairobi on Saturday, the KANU leader said that he is ready to unite with the two.
He added that his party will also join forces with all other like minded people and political formations in 2019 to better the political landscape.
"We will work with these and other like-minded leaders. What we do not want is to work with those people who think it must only be about them and themselves alone,” he told the Standard.
This comes barely days after the latter reportedly met Raila at Siaya Senator James Orengo's home in Ugenya on Wednesday evening.
But this comes at a time when Raila has maintained that he does not want to engage in any form of politicking to give the government time for service delivery.
Gideon added that 2019 will be the year when KANU party under which Daniel Moi ruled the nation for 24 years will regain its footing which seems to have weathered off.
“Kanu, Kanu, Kanu! Kanu will be the party of choice for the year 2019 and beyond," he said.
