Rarieda lawmaker Otiende Amollo seems to have resumed his life-changing campaign after what seems like a long break.
The MP has been running a campaign dubbed Ondoa Nyasi which seeks to better the lives of his less fortunate constituents by building them new homes.
On Friday, the parliamentarian was in Powo, East Asembo, for the construction of a new home for Mama Isdora Sadia, another of his constituents.
"All in a Days Work, modestly improved the dwelling of Mama Isdora Saadia in Powo, East Asembo , the 27th #Ondoanyasi. Also Condoled with the Families Of Moses Adede, Lilian Atieno & Mzee Miguda Ochieng all of Asembo. May their Souls Know Peace in Eternity," he said in a tweet.
He also personally took part in the construction, as detailed in photos attached to the tweet.
Otiende is one of the new faces in the larger Siaya county who is expected to run for a bigger seat in the near future, probably the approaching 2022 polls.
He was elected in the 2017 polls on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party ticket and is a close ally of opposition chief and the party leader Raila Odinga.
He has been posting all such activities on his social media accounts.
