Ampiva FC are the football giants in Kabazi Ward after beating Kabazi FC 2 -0 and will face it out with other teams in the battle for Subukia sub-county tournament under the Governor’s Cup.
Speaking after the Match played over the weekend at Solai Centre grounds, Ampiva FC Patron Sergeant Joseph Mwenda lauded his boys of the good performance.
While attributing the good performance to discipline, Mwenda called on the government to ensure more priority at the grassroots level to nurture talents.
Currently the team has no ground where they can practice forcing them to practice in a primary school’s ground.
“They are good boys. It is only that we lack a place where we can practice and that is why we are appealing that the county government can help us get one” said Sergeant Mwenda.
