Rivalry between ODM and Jubilee parties emerged on Thursday morning minutes to Appeals Court ruling on Nyamira gubernatorial case.
Walter Nyambati (Jubilee), a close confidant of President Uhuru Kenyatta will know his fate after failing to overturn governor John Nyagarama's victory in High Court.
Supporters to either side of political divide clashed on Nyamira Politics WhatsApp group with a judgment expected to be delivered by Justice Simon Muhandia and the team.
"We all know the Governor won fairly. Jubilee supporters cannot intimidate us. They should be ready for a defeat," said George Momanyi, a Nyagarama supporter.
Another ODM supporter Amos Onsoti said: "They (Jubilee) will be humbled. It will be a routine victory for our party."
But thoe supporting Jubilee warned of a 'rude' shock adding that the court will rescue 'aspirations' of Nyamira people.
"All these sycophants should be ready for a shock. They have dried our county and today will be their last day," said Jared Onyancha.
In August last year, Nyagarama was declared winner with 65,000 votes while Nyambati managed 59,000 votes.
Mr. Fred Ngatia, Uhuru's lawyer, was part of the legal team that represented Nyambati in the case.
