This follows a proposal by the opposition team for the amendment of some constitution clauses, which has led to a heated debate.

The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led side is proposing among others, the expansion of the executive arm of the government to house more persons.

Speaking on Radio Maisha on Thursday morning, the parliamentarian termed the proposal as the only remedy for the nation's political and tribal exclusion headache.

"Tunataka mabadiliko ili tuzuie mizozo ya kikabila ya baada ya uchaguzi kwa kuongeza viti vya uongozi (we need the changes to put to an end the recurrent issues of tribal electoral rows)," she said.

She further bashed some leaders opposed to the referendum, who are now terming it a plan to incorporate Odinga into the government.

Odhiambo saw no harm in the same should it be realised, observing that the former Premier is equally qualified for government inclusion and leadership.

"Hata tukimtafutia na kumpa kiti haina tatizo maana yeye pia ni mkenya (there is no harm in creating a slot for him as he too is Kenyan)," she added.
