Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s Personal Assistant Michael Oyamo who is detained at Gigiri police station and linked to the murder of Sharon Otieno will be arraigned in court on Wednesday.
Oyamo will be arraigned along with Caspal Obiero.
According to the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Jacob Ondari, Oyamo will be charged with murder will Obiero will face a charge of conspiring, aiding and abetting Sharon’s murder.
The two will be arraigned at the Milimani law courts before Justice Jessie Lessit.
Detectives say that they are pursuing more suspects linked to the varsity student murder and her unborn baby.
According to sources, a special crimes squad has been dispatched to hunt down three hit men linked to Sharon’s murder who are said to be hiding in Nairobi’s Mathare and Kayole slums.
On Monday, Obado pleaded not guilty to killing Sharon.
The ODM governor has been remanded at the Nairobi industrial Area pending ruling on his bail application that is set for Thursday.
