Mr Peter Nyamware, who spoke in Kisii on Sunday, claimed that DP Ruto and his allies are unhappy with the fruits of handshake.

"It is because of the handshake we have seen Uhuru having a firm stand in graft war but Ruto and his close allies are out to oppose the handshake. He is scared of the ongoing graft war because his plan to steal money to fund 2022 campaigns has been halted," he said.

Mr Nyamware confirmed that KANU party leaders from Gusii region are in full support of the graft war.

He challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta not to look back in the corruption war adding that corrupt politicians and civil servants should face the law.

"As KANU fraternity from Gusii region we are in full support of the President's war on corruption. The Head of State should not be intimidated or blackmailed by cartels because theft of public funds will hinder development," he stated.
