There is a misplaced perception among the ladies that beauty has something to do with your social class.
That probably explains the reason why a lady with self-esteem issues will struggle so hard to raise her social class to the point of faking it.
Kobi Kihara, the former NTV host, for instance, thought she would be considered a 'cool girl' if she could prepare such kind of a salad hence ending up faking it.
Well, for those of you who have not heard, Kobi Kihara is being roasted by Kenyans on Twiter for taking credit of preparing a salad that she had actually downloaded.
Unfortunately, it is not Kobi Kihara alone who is faking it. A lot of university ladies particularly at Moi University are going out of their way to look 'cool'.
The first type of such ladies are the Instagram ladies. These are the type of ladies who will post photos of them in fancy places and clothes on social media when in the real sense, the clothes are either borrowed or stolen.
Then there is the 'I-know-So-and-So type' of ladies. These ladies force themselves on the school celebrities hoping to be 'celebritized' by association. You will always see them hanging around Moi University Students' Organization (MUSO) officials and other celebrities on the campus.
Finally, we have the verbal 'Kobi Kiharas'. These ones will tell you how they have travelled far, how they party at expensive clubs e.t.c when in the real sense they mean the opposite.
Well, as they say; fake it till you make it. But don't get caught while faking.
