A NASA allied MP in Nyamira County has expressed his shock following the development sluggishness in Nyamira County.
West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi while speaking over the weekend at Mariba village, accused Governor John Nyagarama over his continued negligence in the county.
"It is shocking that there is no development project ongoing in the county despite the electorates electing Governor Nyagarama. What we have been witnessing is impunity in the county government," he stated.
Kemosi challenged Governor Nyagarama to move with speed and ensure accelerated development in the region before he completes his second and final term in 2022.
The Ford Kenya elected MP accused County MCAs over their continued foreign trips using public funds instead of championing for development.
"MCAs are becoming a burden to common residents who are paying taxes. We need to see MCAs working for our people and not traveling abroad or organizing unnecessary meetings in big hotel with an aim getting allowances for no work done," he added.
The vocal MP assured that throughout his tenure he will prioritize development based on what the electorates wants to be done.
