A presidential ticket featuring NASA co-principal Raila Odinga and Kanu chairman Gideon Moi has been fronted as a possible 2022 alliance.
A section of Raila’s allies called for the ticket saying the two leaders have proved to be sober and can scale the country to new heights.
Led by Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang’ and Women Rep Gladys Wanga, the leaders said they are ready to back the ticket.
“When we talk about Raila or Gideon taking over power it is not about dynasties but capability. Gideon is so humble it is hard to imagine he is son to a former President. He has won many hearts,” said Kajwang’.
He told President Uhuru Kenyatta to handle the baton to the two leaders.
“I pray that he (Uhuru) hands over power to Raila and Gideon,” he said.
They spoke during a visit by Gideon who attended a fundraising in aid of Wikondiek SDA Church in Karachuonyo Homa Bay County
