The ten years challenge going with #10YearsChallenge has taken the internet by storm. Kenyans are sharing their photos they took ten years ago and comparing them with current ones to show how life has changed and shaped them.
Politicians and other public figures have also embraced the challenge and actually they are making it look good and awesome. Indeed time is moving, things are changing, and so are the people.
Another thing that happened ten years ago which should be remembered in the challenge is the 'saving' of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga from his sins.
In 2009, the controversial Prophet David Owuor baptized Raila Odinga by immersing him in water at a ceremony held in Nairobi. Owuor, Odinga and another unidentified assistant were all in white clothes while getting into the water.
In Christianity, one needs to be born again to enter the Kingdom of heaven. Getting born again is basically going through what Raila Odinga went through in the hands of the 'man of God.
It has also emerged that one cannot enter the Kingdom of God without getting blessing from Prophet David Owuor.
"There is a lot of confusion in the church. God is never irrelevant. He cannot send me then you purport that you can go to heaven without going through me," Owuor is heard telling the unidentified supporter in the video
If Raila Odinga has never again committed any other sin since he was baptized, who knows, he could enter heaven.
