Machakos county governor Dr Alfred Mutua has congratulated his wife Lilian as she graduates top of her class with a masters degree.
Posting on the Facebook page on Friday, the vocal governor said that he was so proud of her for the achievement.
"I am especially happy that the love of my life, Lilian is among the students graduating with a masters of science degree in project management. She makes me very proud as she graduates top of her class. Way to go honey.," he said.
He went ahead to congratulate all the graduates and the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) fraternity.
Mutua expressed his concern over endless politics by some politician in the country which according to him is making graduates and other Kenyans not to access employment or credit.
"People of Kenya deserve better, the graduates too deserve better. They did not study and toil to sit home jobless," he said.
The governor who has shown his interest to vie for presidency come 2022 promised all graduates that he will work hard and smart to make Kenya a great country.
"To all graduating, don't give up, HOPE. Some of us (politicians) care. I promise you that I will continue working hard and smart to make Kenya an event greater country and your lives better so that you may be happier and have more money in your pockets," he promised.
Mutua was an invited guest at JKUAT graduation ceremony on Friday.
