A photo of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto during their old days has surfaced online.
The photo shows a young Uhuru and Ruto during a political function in the Rift Valley.
Uhuru is seen dressed in a loosely fit floral shirt and a ‘don’t touch my ankle’ grey trouser.
Ruto, on the other end, is dressed in a white shirt and grey trousers.

A section of Ruto supporters were buoyed by the photo and used it to claim the two leaders have had a long relationship political and cannot, therefore, break up towards 2022.
There have been fears within the DP’s camp that President Uhuru Kenyatta will not honor his alleged pact with Ruto.
Ruto’s backers say the President and his deputy agreed in 2013 that they would support each other for the presidency.
Uhuru was to serve from 2013 to 2022 and then support Ruto to inherit him.
Things have however been changing since the president was re-elected for a second term in office which has seen the ruling Jubilee divided into 'Kieleweke' and 'Tanga tanga' factions.
Kieleweke is a group of politicians who are opposed to the DP’s 2022 bid. As the political developments unfold, 2022 will be an interesting year to watch.
