Netizens have been awed by a mother who beat all odds to ensure that her son gets a source of livelihood.
The humble mother from Kipyosit touched Kenya Defence Force recruiters on Wednesday and made her son get an automatic recruitment.
According to Linus Ruto, who shared the story online, the disabled accompanied her son to the recruitment in Longisa on Wednesday.
Against the dictates of the military, the mother beat all odds to go past the cutline.
“She struggled until she crossed the cut line, and when recruiting officers saw her, she was called and asked what she was doing, she told them she had come with her son to give him moral support,” Ruto captioned the photo he shared on his social account.
The mother’s move and courage was the turning point for her son’s life as he was taken into the military.
“The KDF recruiters were touched and her son was automatically recruited,” Ruto added.
That is truly a mother’s love.
The story was shared hundreds of times on social media as netizens appreciated the efforts mothers put to ensure their children get what they need.
"That is why I say, instead of wasting money with slay queens in Nairobi always remember your old mum who did everything for you to be where you are," Mike Bachu said.
