Kenyans on social media have expressed their anger following a court decision to sentence National Youth Service staff to a 4-year jail term.
The court had also given the suspect an option of paying a Sh4 million fine.
One Selasio Karanja, a former supply chain assistant, was on Thursday convicted for fraudulently inserting the name of Dama Services Ltd for procurement of training materials.
His conviction comes at a time when government agencies have pointing fingers over failure to prosecute graft suspects conclusively. A number of Kenyans have argued that Judiciary has failed to serve justice to Kenyans despite losing billions of taxpayers' money.
In the recent past Judiciary has come under attack from the Executive and politicians, who accuse it of reluctance to aid the fight against corruption.
