Bullying mostly occurs in schools. It becomes hard to control this act because most of the children who get bullied are afraid of speaking out.
However, as a parent, it is still your responsibility to make sure that your child is safe and is not getting bullied right under your nose.
Here are three warning signs your child is getting bullied.
1. Declining grades
If your child happened to be a top performer and suddenly his or her grades start to fall, then this might be because your child is exposed to bullying.
The environment might have changed making it hard for your child to focus on their education.
When this happens, it is important for the parent to investigate the root cause of the problem.
2. Unexplained injuries
It is common for children to get bruises when in the playground.
However, if a child keeps on getting injuries and he or she can’t remember how they got them, this can be a sign of being bullied by someone at school.
3. Difficulty sleeping
If a child is afraid of facing the next day, the chances of him or her sleeping peacefully at night are usually low.
Hence, when your child acts the same way, this might indicate that he or she is being bullied at school.
