Kenyans on social media cannot keep quiet after Diamond Platnumz’s biological father Abdul Juma revealed that he is living in a state of abject poverty despite his son’s wealthy status.
In an interview with Global TV, the father of the singer claimed that his son has neglected him.
He narrated how he sells Mitumba to make a living while the son wines and dines with tycoons from different parts of the world.
Juma narrated that life has not been easy on his side despite the success of his biological son.
He insisted that the son has never been supportive. He also regretted dumping the mother of the singer Bi Sandra Snura.
“Nowadays I go to the market to look for second-hand clothes to sell them and life continues. Right now there is no one who can support me unless when am sick is when they can offer financial assistance” he said in a shaky voice.
He further said that he wishes the singer forgives him for leaving the mother so that they can live happy again. At one point, he questioned why the singer believes in everything he hears from the mother than anyone else.
